Because of my lifelong love and fascination with horses, I ended up in the horse industry. In my spare time, I have trained horses and worked as a groom for international dressage stables. I was also actively competing in horse shows with my mare. This intensive hobby slowly grew into a specific interest in the musculoskeletal system of the horse. This encouraged me to go to the Vrije Universiteit Brussel to obtain my degree in human physiotherapy. After that, I finished a two-year postgraduate degree in Animal Physiotherapy completed in Barneveld (the Netherlands).
Throughout the years I have done several traineeships at renowned international equine hospitals, rehabilitation centers and in tandem with qualified physiotherapists, chiropractors and veterinarians. All of this experience was done in different disciplines and with the aim to obtain a broad spectrum in the field.
